so me and mike just saw exorcism of emily rose. just kill us.
why would we go see that, you ask? i donttt knowwwww! it was a fuckin ridiculous movie and i wouldn't go again even if you paid for me. it was actually kind of funny because we were both covering our faces with our sweatshirts because we didnt want to see the screen, and i freakin stopped breathing for like half the movie. i have such a bad headache now. then on the way home as we were turning into my neighborhood a fuckin deer ran into the road and opened its mouth and showed us its teeth. not kidding. ask mike. we screamed so loud. kaytee was on the phone and heard it.
it was an interesting night.

I'm not quite sure how I'm going to handle tomorrow yet..
I guess I'll just have to try and keep myself busy so my brain doesn't have the chance to catch up with what has been happening these past couple of days. I don't really want my heart to catch up either...
I've been pretty good with the crying thing so far. no public breakdowns yet. can't say much for the drives home alone though. but we shall see what tomorrow brings. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it all out in the open. and it's really weird because the one person I expected to be strong about all this... isn't. its just so... weird....
there's also still a few things that I need to straighten out... and I don't know if I can deal with them.
I also wish I wasn't such a fuckin pussy.
but my theory is that since we are all so visibly distraught over being parted for pretty much only a month, shouldn't it be safe to say that we are going to stay friends for a very long time? If we are this close now... just picture it next summer. by then we'll have a movie, nevermind a slideshow haha. it's not going to make tomorrow any easier, but it makes me so happy to know that I have such a strong group to fall back on.

tonight im sad again
thinking about everyone leaving. i hate this. i was fine yesterday so
why am i being stupid tonight??? i had such a great evening but now
that i'm home again, sitting in this chair in front of the computer, it
just gets me upset. sometimes i can just deal with it and i'm ok
because i know i'll see most of you again in like a month.... but
sometimes a month just seems soooo loooongggg....
i feel like i need to be with everyone, everyday, all day so i don't miss anything...
and then there's this boy......

I think I've been feeling a lot like Britt lately.
I don't know how to handle myself anymore. I feel like everything is completely out of my control and I just can't seem to keep up anymore. When I'm actually at home and not out somewhere I can't sit still... I'm about to jump out of my skin. Sometimes I can't even sleep at night.. it gets to be 3 AM before my brain finally shuts up and lets me pass out.
What's worse is that now I keep feeling like I am about to cry. I'll come home from an amazing night out, and then it hits me. In a few days... most of my best friends will be leaving for college. Moving away. I don't want people to leave and I don't want school to start again and I don't want anything or anyone to change. I don't want to lose touch with the people that I have really fallen in love with this past year. I am absolutely terrified of it. Of course I want to have a kick-ass senior year and I am excited for that... but at the same time I also don't want it to be my turn yet. I want to stay a kid and be able to go street hopping at 11:30 at night, and play Clue and Set and Skipbo, and have dance parties in the HS parking lot, and just be retarded with my friends.
It's not that I'm depressed or not enjoying the time I've been spending with everyone, because honestly this summer has had some of the BEST times that I've EVER had in my life. It's the realization that it will all end soon. Or at least be put on hold for a couple of months.
Hopefully though, once school starts things will get back to normal. School. Homework. Dance. Work. Sleep. Then I won't have time to let my brain wander and torture me. I think a good cry would also help. But that can wait a few days.
Well I feel a little better now.

i think August 11th is a good enough day to return to my LJ.
this summer has been amazing. ive gotten less sleep than i do during the school year but i am loving every flippn second of my bleary-eyed days.
last night's awkward-dance-party-turned-fabulous-evening was honestly one of the best.
being late for the campout was definitely a good decision, otherwise i would have missed the fucking, the rollerblading club, the street jumping, brett mitchell, and of course, THE hookup.
i never knew that i could love you guys as much as i do. :) |

i love it when seemingly wasted days end up to be really fun.
so this morning i left dustin's at like 8 effing 30 because i got a ride home with jduff. it was such a great night, and i got no more than 20 minutes of sleep alltogether, but it was definitely worth it. got some party time and some cuddle time so i was happy. so i went home and took about 3 naps over the course of the day: one on the hammock, one on the front walkway which is made of rocks, and one on my couch, and i actually got sunburned on my face. i pretty much did nothing all day. i was so bored that i OFFERED to drive my brother to and from the movies. i was so bored that i helped my mom rake the back yard. i NEVER rake. you get the point
i was hoping to make plans for tonight but everyone was dumb and couldnt do anything. so i get into my pajamas and take out my contacts and go online and my dear old friend austin wainwright asks me to go to wendy's with him. it was 10:00.
things we accomplished this evening:
-learned that wendy's is the hip place to be on a sat night at 10:00 (we couldnt even get into the parkign lot it was so packed)
-stalling the car on the WRONG side of the road on route 7, and pushing it to safety
-learned yiddish with dick and jane
-broke open a CD security device by touching it
-stole a spoon from borders
-bying $10 worth of food at borders and eating about $2 of it. i ate it.
-driving out the ENTRANCE of the party stop parking lot and then realizing that we are on the WRONG side of the road divided by a CURB.
-learned that tea is effing HOT
i got to re-bond with an old friend and porpulated the entire time.
now im calling it a night b/c i have to be at church in about 8 hours. damnit. i didnt sign up for this.
hopefully tomorrow will go as i have it planned in my head |
